Amy Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Westmeath, born as Amy Bansagart of the Tribe of Westmeath, is a Priestess of Lodan Lir, member of his Arrowmaidens, ranked Lieutenant, and caretaker of Mona Beag of the Tribe of Louth.

She married Tyran Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Westmeath on the 20th of March 2018, Spring Festival 2018, after their first wedding date in Autumn 2017 fell through due to a variety of reasons.

Amy Bansagart of the Tribe of Westmeath comes from a family of farmers, who worked the fields of Aonair House, on Farpoint Island, not too far from Traverse itself. She was born in Traverse General Hospital, as there were problems during her mother's pregnancy.

Her mother died on the bed, her father taking the loss to his heart, working hard to keep everything running. Amy, despite being an intelligent and alert girl, did not get much in the ways of an education, her hands were needed on the farm. Often, they were struggling, her father putting on a brave facade for his daughter, until he somehow managed to grow the right stuff at the right time, getting them a small fortune when she was ten. His daughter still helped on the farm whereever she could.

Her father married another woman shortly after Amy's thriteenth spring after much hesitation. It was her stepmother, who introduced her father, a usually hard-working man, to Álainn Ríon, the Beautiful Queen.

Álainn Ríon, the Beautiful Queen, known as a Atropa Regina in the rest of the world, is a close relative of the Atropa belladonna, the deadly nightshade. From there, it all went downhill fast.

In 2003, during Winter, she found her father dead of an overdose and was taken in by the local Priest, a kind, older soul, who found in her a deeply pious girl reduced to a skeleton and shell shocked to her core. He nursed her back to physical health, made sure she attended Special School, got her life in order again and introduced her to music, flute and fiddle. She soon began learning both, then exchanging the flute for an ocarina.

When the Priest was transferred to Mount Vellenge, she came along and, in 2005, Amy became Festival Maiden of the Festival of the Great Guardian on Mount Vellenge, the Festival Youngling being Mario Cucciolo. In 2007, she returned to the Mainland and attended the Temple School, 17 by then and only a year behind.

In 2010, she graduated from the Temple School and joined the Cult, training to become a Priestess. During her training, in 2011, she met a little, frightened and insecure girl, who just went through hell, and was handed around between priests to act as her caretaker. Mona Beag of the Tribe of Louth pulled on her heartstrings and Amy felt compelled to take care of her - a proposal, that was granted by the High Priestess.

With finishing her training in 2011, Amy returned from the City of Cuan to Traverse and began to fill the job of the Priestess of Lodan Lir in the communities surrounding the city, working from Aonair House, the farmstead she rose up on. During her first week, she was introduced to Gabha Blacksmiths Limited and their boss, Gwen Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan, as well as her sons and her daughter. One of the sons, the older one, found her interesting and soon, the two developed a friendship, which Mona and said son's older sister began to bring them further together.

When the Music Teacher at the Temple School retired, she took up the job and became Music Teacher there, teaching her children everything she knew about music and encouraging them to explore it more, watching several student bands rise up as well.

In 2018, she married Tyran Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan. She decided, with him and Mona, to stay with them both at Aonair House for now, to further fulfill her duties as a Priestess. Children are currently not planned, but several trips a year to Arbhar House.

Amy has a very strong moral compass, focussing her attention on educating the mind as a teacher, not shoving knowledge into children and hoping for the best. Much of her morals deal with respecting the other, who he is and not what he is.

She has an intense dislike for people, who judge by academic degree and education, or lack thereof, and for any forms of recreational drugs and their dealers.

Amy also owns a small boat, a Seol-type boat called Stuaic, moored by her house.

Personal Relations

Mona Beag of the Tribe of Louth

Amy has a very special relationship with Mona, who tugged on her heartstrings in their first meeting - she even saw herself and wanted to protect the little girl.

From that honest will soon came an honest friendship and a sorority, which will stand the trials of time, the two being a tight-knit community.

Tyran Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan and the Extended Banphrionsa-Family

Tyran, her husband, is Amy's one and true, a man she would not exchange for anything in the world. Although married, the couple does not currently plan to have children.

His family is now her extended family and they welcomed her with open arms and pulling her in - despite her resisting at first. She became Fiona's confidant and by extension that of her best friend as well. When Nora Cathlong of the Tribe of Cork had her miscarriage in April 2017, it was Amy, who gave the child its last rites and name, Kyra.

It was already decided, that when Fiona ever marries, it will be Amy, who will be the Priestess responsible for the ceremony.
