The Black-Backed Bass is a fish-species endemic to the Free Lands, or rather the Great Sea. Found in marine environments, the Black-Backed Bass belongs to the Perciformes and is a one meter long, 18 kilogram heavy (adult average) fish.

They are a popular game fish for Sea Fishing, but also a target for industrial fishing. They are mostly found around the Mainland and at the surrounding islands.
