The Brecharn B-16 is a carrier-capable jet trainer Bebinni-Gléasai, primarilly used to train new Bebinni in handling larger, more advanced jet Strikers. Designed primarily for that purpose, and with the additional roles of light attack and reconnaissance, the B-16 remained in service over four decades.

After decommissioning by the Muster of the High King, in favour of the Brecharn B-31, many were bought by private flyers, many doing aerobatics with the Striker Unit. The B-16 is, since 1971, in service with the Polices of the High Kingdom and their Bebinni Units, being used for traffic observation and similar roles.

With the Polices of the High Kingdom

The Polices of the High Kingdom use the B-16 in roles suited for it, mainly in traffic control, ground support (both armed and unarmed), SAR (or more specifically, the S as the R is a tad complicated), during high-speed car pursuits, in observation roles, as air patrol, and for the control of large-scale public events and public order incidents. As the High Kingdom has no land borders and maritime patrol is the job of the Muster of Ships, the B-16 is not used for border patrol missions, however they could be used in such a role.

The B-16s in service with the Police retained their armament of two machine guns, but they usually carry other, non-military equipment on the hardpoints. Once a year, however, the Bebinni in Police Service are dispatched to train with the Muster of Horse and Foot for a week, refreshing their CAS-Knowledge (their role, should push come to shove).

The Polices consider replacing their B-16s with B-31s by 2030.
