Professor Clais Levasseur is a Professor of History at the University of Nouvelle-Dunkerque and one of the most well-known professors in the nation. His speciality is the History of Nouvelle-Dunkerque, especially in regards to the Golden Age of Piracy.
He is married and has two sons.
In 2015, he earned the nickname of La Capitaine. He had gathered the funds and expertise to rebuild a Pirate-Frigate from the Golden Age and went on to command her "for a cruise around the block." During this cruise, which went a bit wider then around the block, they met a trading convoy, which sighted the flag and reported the sighting of a pirate vessel - within the hour, the replica was cornered by Attack-VTOLs of the SDF-Navy and forced to stop, a vessel arriving a few hours later and taking them into custody until all could be checked and confirmed. Bishop Roel Colaert commended the crews of the vessels involved in "stopping the dangerous pirate Levasseur" for their deed and bravery (that Levasseus and Colaert were old enemies was only the icing on the proverbial cake).
