Fürstin Emilia, born as Emilia von Hochheyde, was from 1937 to 2006 Fürstin Teressiens and Head of the House of Hochheyde. Since 1998, her son Prince Raik, later Fürst Raik VI., ruled in her stead as a stroke left her unable to attend to her duties.
With Emilia, a variety of changes were introduced in how Teressien dealt with its neighbours and partners, but also with itself. She was, for example, the first official representative of the Principality to don the ethnic clothing of those she visited (for the first time in her state visit to Shikonjima in 1940).

Emilia's rule was, as the Teressian historian Arnulf Bongner phrases it, "marked by progressive conservatism, monarchism and internationalism."
