Captain Filicia Camnir of the Tribe of Cork, for friends Filly, is an officer of the SDF-Navy and currently the commanding officer of the Maighdean-class Missile Cruiser SDFS Bruinneall.
Filicia is married to Eoin Camnir of the Tribe of Cork. The couple has three daughters, Eithne (vintage 1997) and the twins Finnya and Liliane (both vintage 2003).
Biography
- applied for Naval School in 1983, taken in 1984
- member of the Swordman Team at the Naval School
- graduated in 1993, joined SDF-Navy, became a Naval Vessel Electrical Officer
- 1994: Marries Eoin Camnir of the Tribe of Cork
- 1997: Pauses education due to pregnancy, Eithne is born
- returns to service in 1999
- graduated in 2001, ranked Lieutenant
- 2003: Maternity Leave, Finnya and Liliane are born
- 2005: Returns to Service
- 2007: Promotion to Lieutenant Commander
- 2012: Promotion to Commander
- 2015: Promotion to Captain, placed as Naval Attaché at the Embassy of the Free Lands in Teressien
- 2017: Called back, placed in command of SDFS Bruinneall
- Vessel launched 2018, commissioned 2019
