The Foireann, the Team, are the national football team of the Free Lands. The emblem of the Lightning Bolt was chosen by the team due to their reluctance to adopt the Bratach for that purpose. It also symbolizes their speed, being fast as lightning and hitting twice as hard (or so the Captain said). Their other nickname, Tintreach, the Lightning, comes from that emblem.

The Foireann has no home stadium, but regularly trains in Fort Stone.

The jerseys were produced by Bicíní Industries and are currently sold out everywhere in the Free Lands.
