The Gabha FMG-64, also known as the Pistol, Automatic, Model 1968, is a submachine gun produced by Gabha Blacksmiths Limited, originally as a replacement for the Pistol, Automatic, Model 1923 - however, the SDF-Army did not accept the FMG-64, so the weapon went onto the export market. Ironically enough, troops of the SDF-Army would run into the weapon during the Humanitarian Mission of the SDF to Kupandukira from 1965 to 1975. There, the FMG-64 would prove its efficiency.

Since 1983, the Gabha-Subsidiary Gabha-Kupandukira produces the FMG-64, although by now in upgraded versions.
