Llwyd Blaidd, of Tralee Descent is a herbalist and teacher as well as Swordmaster and former mercenary. He is of the Spiorad Ainmhithe.

He is married to Meave Blaidd, of Tralee Descent. The couple has two daughters, Elin and Branwen. Due to a previous marriage, several centuries ago, he and his family are also a member of the Sloroimh-Family.

Biography

Swordmaster ( - 1462)

Former Swordmaster (1462 - 1621)

Llwyd only lost the title because he did not bother to come to the examination of the Marcach Guild in 1462. He himself does not recall, why he didn't take that date or the test later.

Herbalist (1621 - 1997)

Family man (1997 onwards)

Starting in 1999, he was a family man, the gruff Spiorad becoming no less gruff, but lovingly gruff to his wife. In 2000, the couple had twins, Elin and Branwen,

In 2020, he took his family on a short vacation, celebrating the Spring Festival in Redruth. There, he wanted to participate in the tournament for the Redruth Sword Cup, but wasn't allowed to due to his age and experience and status as a Swordmaster. But he was allowed to do a show fight versus Asteria Sclábhaí of the Tribe of Fermanagh, winning.

Character

Gruff and abrasive towards people he does not know, he needs time to warm up to people. Much time.

He loves his daughters dearly and he, although he would never tell her, read Branwen's books of the Gwarcheidwad-Series, and is very proud of her. He respects Shizuka Gozen, though not to the extend of his daughter's or wife's adoration for her. Elin and her

The two young swordfighters won his respect during his Swordmaster-Examination during the 2019 Launceston Harvest Festival, where the two held their own in their fights against Elin and Branwen. While the two, ultimately, lost, their skill and tenacity convinced him, that they would go to places.
