Lyrics (English translation)

She was one of the Best
Her Banner with her through thick and thin.
In Kyrenaia's Deserts, they had fought.
For Harblia's Lords, they opposed their fellows in misery,
Back home, they hunted robbers almost for fun,
Now Teressien's Prince needed their Service.
If not now, then when?
If not like this, then how?
If not here, lads,
How will you defend our name
And earn your silver
From the Prince's heavy coffers?!
Not for Land and Honour,
Not for Nation and Flag,
Their swords were drawn for Silver,
Their rifles aimed for Gold.
No honour was in it,
But it was a living.
If not now, then when?
If not like this, then how?
If not here, lads,
How will you defend our name
And earn your silver
From the Prince's heavy coffers?!
Little more then the name of their company,
The Báirseach Company, of two hundred souls,
What they knew and what they were
Was all in those words.
Mercenaries, their was their pride
And that dictated their price.
If not now, then when?
If not like this, then how?
If not here, lads,
How will you defend our name
And earn your silver
From the Prince's heavy coffers?!
In the morning, they rode out,
The Prince's Left Flank was theirs,
Advanced and pushed under the Midday's Sun,
Broke the Line of Musketmen, rolled it up the whole mile.
They took the field that day,
And near Eyssenstadt, they earned their pay.
If not now, then when?
If not like this, then how?
If not here, lads,
How will you defend our name
And earn your silver
From the Prince's heavy coffers?!
