The PSG-19 Marksman Rifle, formerly known as the SLK-6, is the battle rifle and 



The PSG-19 was introduced in 1958 as a replacement for the K-2 Carbine, which was getting on with the years, replacing it with a self-loading carbine. Upon introduction, it was the SLK-6, adopted both by the military and the Police, where it was adopted by their marksmen and special forces.

By 1979, the SLK-19 was replaced by the SLK-29 Assault Rifle, the weapons finding a new niche as marksman and battle rifles, being rebranded as the PSG-19.
