In 2018, Shella hosted the celebrations of the 2018 Shella Harvest Festival of the Cabhair Group.
Shooting for Abhcan's Little Daggers started in Octobre 2018. The movie based on Finnegan Scríbhneoir's hit novel mostly plays in Shella.
Geography
Climate
Situated roughly 2,800 kilometers south of the Northern Polar Circle, the climate in Shella and the islands surrounding it is usually characterized as oceanic and warm-subtropical. With the furthest distance between the islands of the Archipelago being roughly 200 kilometers, the climate generally is similar.
Demographics
In 2018, the Shella-Archipelago was home to roughly 26,000 people, roughly 7,000 of which lived in the Town of Shella itself. The remainder was distributed between the many islands.

Shella itself has two major harbours, one an industrial harbour with a cargo terminal and one cruise liner terminal, which also functions as a ferry terminal for the surrounding islands and the ferry connections to the Mainland.
Shella also has a seaplane port, which is dominated by Geabhróg Airlines and their seaplane tender Marcapall.
