Tyran Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Westmeath, born as Tyran Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan, is one of the two younger brothers of Fiona Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan, son to Finn and Gwen Banphrionsa of the Tribe of Cavan. He is also steward of two of the family's houses, Arbhar House near Ironcastle and Soitheach House in Shella.

He married Amy Bansagart of the Tribe of Westmeath on the 20th of March 2018, the Day of the Spring Festival.
