The Yimyrid VI Command Carrier is the sixth iteration of the Yimyrid-series of Command Carriers, massive and gigantic vehicles, which form the core of the large scale ground operation capabilities, both of the defensive ones and of the expeditionary capabilities of the Ground Forces of the Confederation. The Yimyrid VI is manufactured by Cawar Ground Vehicles.
Currently, the GFC has 113 of these massive machines in service, with the last 27 currently being under construction. Additionally, the Starfleet of the Confederation has ten of these machines in service. Two demiliterized variants are in service as well, with a total of 29 having been built and 2 more being under production.
Primary Mission of a command carrier is to act as a command center, as a drone vehicle construction platform and as a support platform. This support can include fire support, although that is more of a last resort tactic. Thanks to its very tough armor and defenses, the Yimyrid VI Command Carrier can take quite a beating.

Production Facilities
One of the missions of the Yimyrid VI is also the production of light unmanned ground vehicles and combat droids, as well as their supplies (if necessary). To that end, the Yimyrid VI has an onboard complement of mining and transport vehicles, which supply the necessary resources to the refineries onboard, which automatically begin production of the necessary war materials.
However, winning a planetary war is impossible based solely on these materials, which is why this is only a stopgap solution until a bridgehead was established and a planetary base was set up.
